At the heart of our sustainability efforts is e-Board, a revolutionary material created by recycling melamine board from decommissioned office furniture. This material significantly reduces the amount of furniture waste that ends up in landfills, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable environment.

Winya prioritises responsible sourcing to ensure that the materials used in our furniture have the least possible environmental impact. We work with suppliers who align with our sustainability goals, and we utilise salvaged timbers from mine-site clearing projects. This approach not only helps reduce deforestation but also provides vital economic opportunities for remote Indigenous communities, where jobs are often scarce. By repurposing timber that would otherwise be burned or discarded, Winya ensures that we contribute to both environmental conservation and community development.
